A Chartered Building Surveyor and Chartered Quantity Surveyor specialising in historic building conservation.
Building and condition surveys: the first stage is to examine the building, to fully understand how it was built and to assess the current condition.
Conservation works and advice: having carried out the survey, the surveyor will understand the conservation work needed and give appropriate advice.
Historic analysis and research: with more detailed investigations we can assess the buildings developement over time and also its historic significance.
Repairs to historic buildings: we ensure that appropriate repairs, using traditional materials and workmanship, are carried out to historic buildings.
Adaptive reuse and conversion: we design and arrange alterations to redundant buildings, or those with poor facilities, enabling renewed economic use.
Advice on buildings at risk: we provide advice on saving historic buildings where they are in a very poor condition or where they have already been condemned.
